Happy Veterans Day!

Happy Veterans Day!
I salute all of our hard working veterans!
Thank you so much for your service!
Did you think that there were enough honoring ceremonies or parades in your area?
Did you or your family visit the Veterans Memorial Center in your town?
How did you mark this day?
I do know and honor the veterans that I know.
I am sorry that the wars that they have served in have been hard and of course
I appreciate our veterans who are serving now .
Please leave them your support and comments.

We only remembered through our entries. Sad, but I bet there are not nearly enough real rememberances that occur, life often gets in the way. Thanks for your questions to make us think :o)

I always have poppies in the house for the remembrance day, I observed the two minutes silence and watched all the services and ceremonies on t.v.

As you know I am a Viet Nam Vet. My Dad, Uncles, and Grandfathers are all Vets also. They are all gone now and I am left to carry the tradition of thanks and rememberance alone. Thank you for thinking about all of us.
My Regards, Bill (Bear)

What a nice post! I am that disabled Vietnam Veteran that Dirk is trying hard to help with his fine blog articles. He is truly a saint, and my brother in Christ.

I hope you find the time to visit my own Journal: hel-gunner tom
I am happily married and live in Wisconsin.

Cordially,
