New Hope for Lou Gehrig disease Victims and Paralyzed Victims
There was a famous scientist (neurologist) named Scot and he got Lou Gehrig's disease.
In this program Scott is working on an experiment. Scot's brain is covered with a BCI cap with a dish full of electrodes. There is gel in it. The gel connects brain signals wiht letters so that Scott can communicate! Scott's brain sel;ects a letter mentally adn then the computer provides a voice interface which relates the work he creates.
Scott says:"When I see a letter I want, my brain sends out a signal."
Scott says "The neuron cap has given me back my life."He can now communicate with his wife.
He is even continuing his scientific research now.
what do yuo think of this research? would you ask your family or friend to try it if needed?

I think it is truly up to the patient. I would hope their doctor would offer all possibilities but if not, I would most certainly make sure they were informed of it so they know their options.

I think the BCI caps are a great idea, just don't pick ALL the Vet's as Guinea pigs. So many U.S. Vet's are coming back from the Middle East with TBI and are being 'warehoused' without their rightful benefits-- Shame! Obama could easily float more money into VA R+D to help it's disabled Veterans.
