Eunice Kennedy Shriver passed away at 88 today. She was beloved by all Americans because she singlehandedly created the Special Olympics for people in 1968. Before her time, people who were mentally challenged than the norm were out away in institutions. One of her sister was "special ed" diagnosed.Shriver saw to it that these people were accepted and that they could compete in special
olypic events. Now her organisation is knwon world wide as a great one.
President Reagan gave Mrs. Shriver a Medal of Honor which is the highest order a civilian can receive.
Our deepest Condolences go out to her family and friends.
Please tell us your thoughts bloggers.

Hi Natalie, thanks for visiting my blog. I did not know what Eunice had achieved in her lifetime. I think for anyone to die and leave a legacy for others to enjoy is a life well lived.

Nat,
CNN is a well known, big time LIBERAL news rag!! That means that they lean heavily to the LEFT. We should NOT expect them to tell the truth.
