China's miners rescued from a disaster

April 5, 2010

One hundred and fifteen miners were rescued from China's worst mining disaster.
these workers were trapped for right days and nights. It has been said that they strapped themselves to the wall with their belts for days and jumped into a mine shaft later. Some said that people were eating wood.

Rescuers heard taps on meal pipes when the mine was filling with water. They sent glucose injections down to the miners.

I wonder if we could learn something from them...
