Happy Hanukkah, Festival of Lights to our Jewish blogger s and their family... will you travel or stay home? will you have family visit or not? let us know...
Shalom; This Hanukkah was a quiet one. Usually the house is fully decorated, we visit folks over to celebrate with sweet wine, sweet pototoe latkes, fried fish, doughnut, spin the dreid and tell the story of Hanukkah. But this year, Mark is in Afghanistan and I had the flu. So I just lit the candles each night and had chicken soup. I still send Mark his gifts and I recieved my from Afghanistan. We shared stories over the phone of Hanukkah past and made plans for next year, which includes my making a Hanukkah Gingerbread house. Laini

Happy Hanukkah. Write more how Hanukkah is celebrated so that the people like me can know more about it.
Best wishes.
