Mr. Swayze will be missed in the entertainment arena. I do not recall a movie of his that I did not enjoy watching. It was obvious, he brought it to the table with every performance. I can't say I had a favorite because I enjoyed each one for different reasons. He was a true professional, and enjoyable to watch.

My heart and prayers go out to his loved ones, friends and family that are going thru this time of grief. May they find comfort and peace in the love and friendship shared during this season of loss. My sincere condolences to them.

He was so vibrant and fought this disease, which I have never known anyone who has beat pancreatic cancer but if anyone could have it would have been him. My heart goes out to his family.

This was so sad to read, I really thought that he was going to end up beating cancer.

I loved his movies a lot, especially Ghost.

Patrick Swayze was very well liked by all that met and/or worked with him.
I think when an actor has a solid marriage, it speaks volums..
Pancreatic cancer is a silent killer.
"You take the love with you Patrick"

My condolences to the Swayze Family

On this next step in your journey, Patrick, may all the wonders of life become even more clear! I wonder what you're learning even now as we ponder the loss of just one fellow human? Surely we're evolving. Safe and wondrous journey!

Any death, no matter if the person is famous or not comes with saddness and much grief to those who knew the person or admired them from afar.
I always thought he must be an OK guy to be married to the same woman all his life...
Now there is no fooling myself...He was not named the Sexiest Man Alive for nothing...but again cancer is not exempt from celebrity...but of course we all applauded Swayze's determination to "beat this disease!"
My heart grieves with his wife, family and all those who loved him.

I was both shocked and saddened upon learning that Patrick was battling this terrible disease, about a year ago, when I first saw pictures of him looking unwell. Special thoughts now for his wife, family and close friends who will feel his absence the most.
