Iceland's volcanic ash halts flights across Europe
by Robert Barr and Jill Lawless
Barr and Lawless explain that an ash cloud from Iceland's volcano halted flights to and from Europe and closed the airports of Europe. Tens of thousands of passengers are stranded they said. It is not sure when they can fly again...
Unfortunately, this already prevented President Obama from representing the U.s. and it prevented other countries from going to the funeral of the President of Poland this month.
Please think of these people. Please leave comments for these people. I hope that they can get home soon...

I have been juggling several things at once!
My question about the New Year: IS there something special you want to happen?
Want to share?
Let us know!
For me , I want bloggers there to feel more happy! Psyched!

Happy Pearl Harbor Day
Jimmy's Journal mentions Pearl Harbor in detail...
I wish you say that we bloggers honor all of the victims of Pearl Harbor.
It was a terrible tragedy to see them cut down when they weren't expecting to be attacked in their ships in port...
Our Deepest Condolences to all you lost brave men and women that day.
Please leave comments and condolences for these people.

A Killing at the Holocaust Museum:Questions Linger
A man named Mr. Amon Van Brun shot the guard, Mr. Stephen Tyrone Johns at the National Holocaust Museum, where he showed up sporting an armed rifle.Mr. Johns is now a ntional hero because it is thought that he protected the others in the museum at the ultimate cost.
Mr. Van Brun is a well known author of a white supremacist book about how the Jews in the world hurt gentiles worldwide.
The violence experienced here had many wondering why there are other people who want to suppress the evidence of genocide and racial hatred and deny that the holocaust even happened.
Why do you think this happened? Your thoughts please.

Slum Dog Millionaire What did you think?
Google
Slum Dog Millionaire took ten oscars!
What did you make of it?
Acclaim from two best friends sent me galloping over there...
The music , photography, and dance were wonderful...
I ahd not been prepared for the pathos and despair; not to mention the extreme events..
how about you?

Ode to Rudyard Kipling, If, Level thinking
"If you can keep your head
While all those around you
Are loosing theirs And Blaming it on you..."
Except from "If" by Rudyard Kipling
Google
I memorized this poem in second grade...please Google it.
It is a source of reflection for me...
Do you think that people are using level thinking these days?
If not, would it help?

What do you think are our rights? (Bill of Rights)
"My Country, 'tis of thee, Statue of Liberty, of the I sing...
....Long shall our land be bright
With freedom's holy light
Protect us with thy might
To Thee we sing"...
People.... What are your rights?
We have a Bill of Rights in this country that is scared to me
because it was won with the blood and sacrifices
of our forefathers...
so... you tell me which ones count for you the most!
I hope some of our other friends will consider which rights mean the most for them too...
Do we as a people want to give any of these up?

Would you try the Acai berry? Why or why not?
http://www.acaiberryproductts.org
Google
According to the Acai berry organization the Acai berry is
a"perfect food that mankind has always been looking for.
It is far better than any other combination of other foods on earth, ounce
per ounce."
The Acai berry is a dark purple fruit that has little edible pulp.
It grows in a tree from the palm family and it grows in "large stringy bunches."
It only grows in Amazonia in northern Brazil in the rain forest.
Natives have been eating it for some time and ecologists are excited
with it because they have been able to stop the chopping trees
here and local people get jobs harvesting the berries;
(free trade product).
It is know for its' antioxidants.
There are very interesting studies of this fruit!
For example, Professor SteveTalcott at the University of Florida
thinks that the Acai berry in studies has caused a self-destruct process in 86%
of leukemia cells.
so..would you drink it?
